What does Boxi do?

Boxi is a Shopify app that lets you increase average order value (AOV) by creating custom gift boxes, build-your-own bundles, and personalized product sets. It's perfect for upselling, seasonal offers, and enhancing customer experience through customization.

Is Boxi builder a multi-step builder?

Yes, you can add as many steps as you like to your builder. Each step can display a product selection or collect personalized information from your customers, such as a gift message.

What types of discounts can I offer with Boxi?

Boxi supports tiered and percentage-based discounts. This allows you to offer customers an increased discount for each additional product they add to their box, thereby encouraging larger orders and upselling.

Does Boxi track inventory for products in the box?

Yes, it does. Boxi tracks the inventory of each individual product purchased in a box. When a customer places an order, the inventory for each item is automatically deducted in Shopify - like a regular product sale.

Does Boxi check stock availability?

Yes! Boxi automatically checks real-time stock levels when customers add products to a box.

Does Boxi support Shopify Markets and multi-currency?

Boxi fully supports Shopify Markets, enabling localised pricing and displaying product prices in the customer's local currency based on their region.

Can customers leave a gift message?

Yes! Just create a custom field for the gift message. You can also create a custom form to collect personalised notes, delivery instructions, and any other details.

Can customers filter products inside the box?

Yes! Boxi integrates with the Shopify Search & Discovery app, allowing you to add customizable product filters - such as by category, price, tag, or availability.

Can I change the colors of Boxi builders to match my brand?

Absolutely! Use the Visual Editor in the app to customise your builder's layout, colours, text and even checkout behaviour - no coding required! You can preview the changes in real time.

What is a bundle product?

A Bundle Product is a special item that represents the full box your customer creates.

Here's how it works:
• When a customer builds a box, the bundle product acts as the main item in the cart.
• The final price is calculated automatically based on the products the customer adds.
• At checkout, customers will see the bundle listed, along with a breakdown of all the products inside.

Why is the bundle product missing?

If you don't see your bundle product, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

• The product was deleted from your store
• Its status is set to 'Draft' or 'Archived' in Shopify
• The product isn't published on your Online Store sales channel

Make sure the product is active and published to appear correctly in your store.

What is a fixed price discount?

A fixed price discount sets a maximum price the customer will pay for the bundle - but only if the total value of selected items meets or exceeds that amount.

For example:
• If the fixed price is set to $80 and the customer adds items worth $100, he will pay $80.
• But if the customer adds only $60 worth of items, he will pay $60 - Shopify doesn't allow charging more than the actual product value.

Do the plans come with customer support?

Is there a free trial available?

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial for all users.

Can I switch between plans?

Certainly! You can easily upgrade or downgrade your plan based on your sales volume to find the plan that best meets your evolving needs. Please note that downgrading to a smaller plan will disable any features that were available on a larger plan.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is processed within the Shopify platform.

Are there any hidden fees beyond the displayed cost?

No, the subscription cost covers all the features listed under each plan. There are no hidden fees or extra charges.

What happens when my bundle sales exceed my plan’s limit?

You will see a message in the app admin panel when you are close to reaching your sales limit. Once this limit has been reached, Boxi's features will be temporarily paused until you upgrade to a higher plan.

How are bundle sales calculated?

Bundle sales are calculated based on the total value of all orders placed through the Boxi app in the past 30 days.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel, click the three dots next to Boxi in your Shopify admin, then choose Uninstall from the dropdown menu. Your subscription will be automatically canceled upon uninstall.
